A Case of Conscience by James Blish
A Case of Conscience by James Blish
Condition: Very good vintage condition, dust cover is bright with minimal signs of wear - a little creasing and some faint marks. This was an ex library book so it does have some stamps, stickers, old sticky tape marks on the inside and on the front of the hard cover and an area at the back which is missing a little of the paper on the inside cover where the library card holder was removed. Pages are very good and clean - a few marks in places but overall straight and tidy. Feel free to request more images if you need.
Notes: Rare hard cover copy of this Hugo Award winning science fiction novel. Second Impression (1966) of the original 1959 book.
A Case of Conscience is the story of a Jesuit who investigates an alien race that has no religion yet has a perfect, innate sense of morality, a situation which conflicts with Catholic teaching. A Hugo Prize winner. A Sci-Fi classic, notable for being one of the first in this genre to try and involve religious theory.
